After a well-earned summer break, Qadran held its traditional back-to-work barbecue, hosted by His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, ambassador of the State of Qatar to France, on September 17th, at his residence in Paris.
This new gathering provided an excellent opportunity to cover the evolution of the current situation in France and the Gulf region, along with the economic outlook that is looming on the horizon of the last quarter of 2026.
Discussions were focused on the efforts required for a strengthened French-Qatari economic partnership, with the purpose of boosting investments and business cooperation between the two countries. In a context accentuated by both major opportunities and significant transformation requirements, Qadran is drawing a bead on promising sectors and leading industries including fintech, artificial intelligence, infrastructures and facilities as well as energy transition. Sector-specific opportunities have thus been considered, in compliance with Qatar National Vision 2030 guidelines.
His Excellency Ambassador Al-Thani closed the dinner by conveying his deep appreciation to Qadran members, CEOs and business leaders for their regular presence and relentless support to Qadran and its actions, alongside their dedication and promptness in anchoring the cooperation between business communities in both countries.
